A superb large vintage galvanised trough with proper agricultural character.

At 183cm long, this is a statement piece without being unmanageable. Originally used as livestock water troughs, they now make outstanding raised planters for lavender, ornamental grasses, herbs or kitchen garden vegetables.

Heavy gauge galvanised steel with rolled top edge and internal strengthening bar. The surface shows exactly the aged patina you want - soft silvery galvanising with areas of natural weathering and moss staining from years outdoors. Honest, industrial and full of character.

The proportions are excellent - long, low and clean lined. Perfect for contemporary courtyards, farmhouse gardens or commercial planting schemes.
